RICHDALE AVE
Cambridge Police responded to Richdale Avenue at Walden Street on a report of an individual kicking a car. Upon arrival, a named witness informed us that they'd observed a male kicking a SUV and followed them to a residence. A footprint was found on the SUV door and it appeared to have body and paint damage. A suspect was identified.

Cambridge Police responded to Chauncy Street to investigate a complaint of a car alarm sounding for upwards of 40 minutes. Upon arrival, the vehicle was located. After several unsuccessful attempts to locate the owner, the vehicle was cited for a Municipal Ordinance Violation and towed.

LARCENY OVER $1200 BY SINGLE SCHEME C266 S30(1)

Cambridge Police summonsed a resident of Dorchester for Larceny over $1,200 by a Single Scheme after an asset protection agent for a department store informed officers that an employee had been stealing money from the cash register, stealing merchandise, giving away free merchandise to friends who had come to the store, and improperly selling items at a discount. The asset protection agent provided police with a copy of an Asset Protection Statement which outlines the multiple thefts over a period of approximately one month. The total loss for the business was $2,877.52.

Cambridge Police and Fire responded to Mass Ave for a strange odor following suspicious activity. The odor was believed to be caused by fireworks, which were located in the immediate area.
