The reporting party stated that she observed a suspect with what she believes was a black handgun in his front waistband. The suspect reportedly did not brandish or purposely display a firearm. Officers searched the area for the suspect to no avail.

ECC dispatched CPD units to a Mass. Ave. bank on a report of a party attempting to cash off of a closed account. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the bank manager who reported that the male (Joseph Bushfan, 29, 808 Memorial Drive in Cambridge) had attempted to cash a check from a closed account. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Bushfan had a warrant out of Dorchester Municipal Court for Threats to Commit a Crime. Bushfan was placed under arrest for the warrant and the issue with the check will be investigated by criminal investigations for possible complaints.

Cambridge Police responded to a fast food restaurant on Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a male behaving oddly and spreading a considerable amount of a white-looking powder substance over a table. Upon Cambridge Police arrival and a subsequent investigation, Dithmar Bulla, 29, 36 Boylston Street in Boston, was placed under arrest for Possession of Class A to Distribute and Possession of Class C to Distribute. A field test indicated the white-looking substance was a drug and it was Fentanyl.

The Dorchester resident had picked up several electronics and walked out of the front door without paying for them. He was advised he was summonsed for Shoplifting by Asportation.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Baltazar Barros, 52, 50 Charles Street in Dorchester, and charged him with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine. Detectives observed Barros operating a motor vehicle in the East Cambridge area and were aware that he had a suspended license. Once stopped and placed under arrest, a search of the motor vehicle he was operating revealed six individual baggies containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine. Barros also had $1,130 in his possession.
