A Cambridge Police Officer initiated a motor vehicle stop after observing a motor vehicle left idling in the bike lane. The vehicle was found to be unregistered and uninsured. The involved vehicle would be towed from the scene and the registered owner/operator was issued a Massachusetts Uniform Citation for Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Blocking a Bike Lane.

IRVING ST
Cambridge Police responded to Irving Street in regards to a male breaking into motor vehicles. Officers located a male matching the suspect's description nearby. The suspect had a large quantity of gift cards and loose changed on him and he provided officers with several inconsistent answers about what he was doing in the area. Officers viewed surveillance video in which the suspect can be seen pulling on the door handle of one vehicle and entering another vehicle. Officers also located an additional vehicle nearby that had also been broken into. A resident of Everett was charged with Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle Nighttime for Felony and Attempt to Commit Crime.

Cambridge Police observed a vehicle in front of Massachusetts Avenue with cancelled plates. The owner, a resident of Worcester, is being summonsed for Unregistered Motor Vehicle and an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
