Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Unit responded for a report of two unattended suit cases in the crosswalk located at Huron Avenue. Upon arrival, the bags were investigated and cleared.

Stephon Samuel, 24, homeless was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. Samuel was observed by Police at a residence where he does not live and Samuel began to create a scene that resulted him being on the street and in the way of traffic flow. After pedestrians and vehicles were guided by Police to go around Samuel, Samuel was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct.

Cambridge Police responded to a Brookline Street residence to document a past instance of malicious destruction to a motor vehicle.

FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE ON COURT WARRANT C276 S20A

CHURCH ST
Cambridge Police responded to a shelter at Church Street for a well-being check on a male. According to that male, on 02/07/2020 at approximately 3 p.m., he was the victim to an assault and battery, which caused serious bodily injury to his person. The victim identified Cody Graziano, 24, Glendale, Arizona, as the suspect of the Assault and Battery. Shortly thereafter, Graziano was observed exiting the shelter and was stopped/identified. After a brief investigation, it was discovered that Graziano had an extraditable warrant out of Maricopa County, Arizona for a Probation Violation (Attempt to Commit Sexual Conduct with a Minor). Subsequently, Graziano was charged with Fugitive from Justice and Aggravated Assault and Battery.

SHOPLIFTING BY CONCEALING MDSE, 3RD OFF. C266 S30A

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police responded to a shoplifting in progress at a business on Mass Ave. Officers determined that the suspect concealed a bottle of lemonade and a gift bag (worth approximately $8) inside of his clothing and he did not make any attempt to pay for the merchandise. Officers also discovered that the suspect was in violation of his Sex Offender Registration requirements and that he had multiple warrants. As a result, Tyronne Burris, 44, 27 Kerry Court in Newton, was placed under arrest for arrest warrants out of Boston and Newton District Court, shoplifting by concealing merchandise, and failing to register as a sex offender.

A Hampshire Street resident reported a package theft after a suspect had taken a package from the rear of his home on February 3, 2020 between 2-5 p.m. The package contained a pair of Nike sneakers worth $130.

Cambridge Police placed William O’Brien, 56, 9 Hull Street in Belmont, under arrest and charged him with License Suspended/Revoked, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Registration Suspended/Revoked. O’Brien was observed by Cambridge Police operating a motor vehicle with an expired registration on a public way. After a traffic stop was conducted it was then determined that O’Brien also had a suspended driver’s license.
