UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV C90 S10

FAYETTE ST
A Medford resident was summonsed to court for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The operator was seen by a witness side swipe a mirror of a motor vehicle on Fayette Street and continue driving. Police happened to be turning on Fayette Street 15 to 30 seconds after this occurred and the witness was able to point out the truck that had caused the damage. Police followed the truck to a construction site on Inman Street, where it was revealed that he was driving the truck. The operator could not produce a driver's license.

A Clarendon Avenue resident reported a theft from her motor vehicle on May 12, 2020 at approximately 2:15 p.m. A suspect entered the driveway of her home and gained access to her Toyota Corolla. The suspect stole a full roll of quarters and rummaged through the interior. It appeared that the suspect may have left behind a number of different business cards. These cards did not belong to the victim.

FAIRMONT AVE
A Fairmont Avenue resident reported the attempted theft of packages on May 12, 2020 at approximately 2:30 p.m. A suspect was seen on video surveillance removing packages from his front porch at 1:44 p.m. A neighbor had witnessed this and yelled out to the suspect. The suspect then returned the items to the porch and fled.

A Cambridge resident reported the theft of funds from her bank account on May 12, 2020 at approximately 3:00 p.m. An unknown suspect withdrew over $4,000 from her account between May 10-11. It appears that the withdrawals were done via computer from France.

A Sacramento Street resident reported a larceny of a package from their front steps. The larceny occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. on 5/11/20 and midnight on 5/12/20.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police placed Louis Spezzaferro, 59, homeless, under arrest for Aggravated Assault and Battery with Serious Bodily Injury and Assault and Battery to Intimidate (hate crime) after police responded to a report of Spezzaferro punching and yelling racial slurs at the victim.

A Massachusetts Avenue resident reported a package theft on May 12, 2020 at approximately 7:10 p.m. A suspect entered a secure "package room" inside her building and stole a package belonging to her. The package contained an item of clothing worth $25.
