Leslie Wheeler, 42, 1960 Washington Street in Boston, and Anthony Moore, 54, 444 Harrison Avenue in Boston, were arrested at Somerville Avenue following a brief investigation. Wheeler is charged with Trespass After Notice, Shoplifting Under $1200 and having a warrant out of the Cambridge District Court. Moore is charged with Shoplifting Under $1200. This theft occurred when the two individuals took possession of household goods in a department store, secreted them in bags and passed all points of purchase without paying for the items.

Cambridge Police responded to Central Square for a report of an assault in progress. The victim reported that he was punched in the eye after an altercation at a local restaurant. Upon arriving on scene and making contact with the reporting party/victim, it was determined that an assault had occurred. Responding Units canvassed the area in an attempt to locate the suspect with negative results. The victim was evaluated by medical personnel on scene and denied any further medical evaluation/treatment.

Cambridge Police arrested Shea Morton, 35, homeless, for Shoplifting by Asportation and refusing to ID herself for police. Police stopped Morton, who stole from a store and matched the description put over the radio from dispatch. Officers confirmed with the video surveillance that she stole the items. It was later discovered that Morton had warrants out of Somerville District for Assault and Battery, Receiving Stolen Property +$1,200, Receiving Stolen Property -$1,200, Receiving Stolen Credit Card, Shoplifting by Concealing, Larceny from a Person.

Cambridge Police responded to University Park for a report of a bicycle theft in progress. A security guard witnessed the suspect cut the lock off of a bicycle and then flee. Officers stopped the suspect a short distance away and identified him. The suspect was transported via ambulance to a local area hospital for alcohol intoxication. The stolen bicycle was recovered on scene.

MAGAZINE ST
Carlton Haynes, 50, 780 Albany Street in Boston, was arrested in the rear of Magazine Street and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug - Fentanyl. Officers responded to this location on the report of two people engaging in sexual conduct as well as drug activity. Haynes was stopped and a subsequent search of his person revealed approximately four grams of Fentanyl. Other materials consistent with drug distribution were also discovered where Haynes was standing.
