An Illinois resident reported being defrauded of $305 on November 4, 2020 at approximately 9 p.m. He attempted to purchase marijuana from a fraudulent business that had a Massachusetts Avenue address. He was told to use BitCoin for the purchase and eventually lost all contact with the seller after converting the funds.
