The Transit Police called for assistance and reported they were chasing a suspect, who dropped a firearm in the area Harvard Yard. An update was given that the firearm was in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Peabody Street. After receiving information that the gun may have been discarded in a pile of leaves, Officers began a search and an Officer with HUPD ultimately located a revolver in a pile of leaves. A suspect was taken into custody by the Transit Police.
