GILMORE BRIDGE
Cambridge Police were dispatched to a local business for the report of a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officers were directed by witnesses that the suspect was now going across the Gilmore Bridge. When Officers, located that party, the witnesses were close behind and stated that was the male who broke into the vehicle. Officers found he had multiple warrants. Stephen Cucchiello, 58, 160 Everett Street in East Boston, was placed under arrest for Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle in the nighttime and warrants out of Chelsea and Suffolk Superior Court.

Cambridge Police summoned a Cambridge resident for Assault and Battery on a Person +60/Disabled after she assaulted the victim – who is known to her -- by punching him on the right side of his face with a closed fist while he was driving on the highway. The victim sustained serious bodily injury to his face with major swelling to their cheek area and mouth. She fled the scene prior to police arrival at the victim’s residence.

Cambridge Police responded to Mount Auburn Street, a public way owned and maintained by the City of Cambridge, for a report of a disturbance following a motor vehicle crash. A subsequent investigation revealed that one of the involved motor vehicles registration was revoked for insurance reasons. Subsequently the operator of that vehicle was summonsed to Cambridge District Court and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance.

Units responded to a rollover crash after a vehicle struck a broken down vehicle in the south bound lane. The operator was transported to a local hospital with head and chest injuries. The victim struck in the broken down vehicle refused a medical evaluation.

DEWOLFE ST
Dennis Jones, 53, 50 Portland Street in Haverhill, was placed under arrest for Possession with the Intent to Distribute Class B, Possession of a Class A Drug, Possession of Class B Drug, Possession of a Class E, Operating to Endanger, Open Container of Alcohol in a Vehicle, and a One-way Violation. Jones was arrested after he was observed by multiple witnesses driving down Mount Auburn Street the wrong way at a high rate of speed. Jones then lost control of his vehicle and crashed into another vehicle injuring three people. After officers arrived on scene, Jones's vehicle was inventoried, and officers discovered Fentanyl in plain view next to his cup holders and multiple open containers of alcohol in the passenger seat. A thorough search of the vehicle was then conducted, and officers located more Fentanyl and methamphetamine in Jones's vehicle. Officers then responded to the local hospital where Jones was transported to formally place him under arrest and they located one package of Fentanyl in his hand as well as a sock down his pants containing 28 individually wrapped bags of crack cocaine. The three other people that were injured denied medical attention on-scene.
