Cambridge Police arrested Tyjon James, 21, 90 Fawcett Street in Cambridge, was charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (to wit a knife), Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (to wit shod foot) and Assault and Battery on Person +60 (to wit pushing). Several victims identified James as Officers arrived on scene stating that James pulled knifes on them and assaulted them. James complied with officers’ commands and admitted to pulling knives on the victims and assaulting them. Due to the suspects injuries, he was transported to a local hospital for an evaluation and he was medically cleared at which point he was transported back to Cambridge Police Department for booking.

Officers were dispatched to a pet store at Alewife Brook Parkway for a shoplifting, which had just occurred. A description of the suspect and direction of flight was provided. Officers located a suspect matching the description nearby. A Boston resident was found to be in possession of the stolen merchandise worth $419.99. He was summonsed for Shoplifting $250+ by Asportation.

On 12/18/20 at approximately 4:10 p.m. during the Covid 19 pandemic a female attempted to enter the Best Buy store located in the Cambridgeside Mall. When the loss prevention employee advised this female that she could not enter without wearing a mask this female became disruptive and spit at the employee before fleeing the store.
