GREEN ST
Cambridge Police responded to Norfolk Street for a larceny from a motor vehicle. While searching the area, Officers located Jake Silveira, 28, 107 Bow Street in Arlington, and Renato Pignataro, 34, 32 Everett Avenue in Norwood, with stolen items. Due to this, both parties will be charged with Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,200.

AUBURN ST
Justin West, 48, 820 Mass. Ave. in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Attempt to Commit a Crime and Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle in the Nighttime with Intent to Commit a Felony. West was placed under arrest after a witness called the police stating that a black male wearing dark clothing and a winter hat tried to break into her neighbor's vehicles on Auburn Street. When police officers were responding to Auburn Street, an officer observed West trying to enter a vehicle on Franklin Street. When West failed to gain entry to that vehicle he started to walk away towards another vehicle. This is when officers stopped him. It shall be noted that West fit the description from the initial reports of a male trying to break into vehicles on Auburn Street.
