He reported that a man was taking photos of several buildings on the property. The man claimed that he was a professional photographer and left the property when he was asked to.

A Porter Square business contacted police to report a habitual shoplifter was in the store actively stealing merchandise. Upon arrival, a store employee directed officers into the Porter Square MBTA Station and identified an Alvin Whitlow, 65, 150 Chauncy Street in Boston. Officers stopped Whitlow and discovered numerous items of merchandise from the store with no proof of purchase. He was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Asportation, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. During booking it was discovered that his Sex Offender Registration expired and he was also charged with Sex Offender, Failure to Register.
