Police, fire and EMS responded to the vicinity of Fifth Street and Spring Street for the report of a male party suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for further treatment and evaluation.

Officers responded to an Arrow Street address for a report of a hit and run property damage. Upon arrival, CPD spoke with the victim who stated he received information that a small white colored motor vehicle struck a street sign pole causing the street sign pole to crash into and damage his front store window.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Jony Fernandes, 29, 11 Bennett Street in Everett, was arrested for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Turning Right on Red Where Prohibited after the vehicle he was operating was observed turned right from Third Street on to Cambridge Street, facing a solid red light and in the presence of a "No Turn on Red" sign. The motor vehicle was subsequently stopped and Fernandes was found to have no active license status. The owner of the motor vehicle was summoned to court for Allowing Improper Operation of a Motor Vehicle for allowing Fernandes to operate the motor vehicle.

Cambridge Police responded to a residence on Temple Street for an assault. Those parties were separated prior to the arrival of the Cambridge Police. Officers obtained statements from the involved parties and a report was taken.
