Cambridge Police responded to Cambridgepark Drive, for a report of a pedestrian hit by a motor vehicle. The pedestrian was struck on the leg and transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The operator of the vehicle was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

Cambridge Police arrested Erikx Soto Gomez, 37, 33 Allston Street in Somerville, for OUI-Alcohol. Soto Gomez was viewed in close proximity to a vehicle crash and admitted to being the operator of the motor vehicle that caused the crash. After several Field Sobriety Tests, it was determined that Soto Gomez was under the influence of alcohol. Soto Gomez is also being charged with Reckless Operation of a motor vehicle, Unlicensed Operation and Marked Lanes Violation for leaving the lane of travel and crashing into a parked motor vehicle.

A resident of Cambridge states he rented a "Blue Bike" and rode it to Harvard Square. They went into a store in Harvard Square and left the bike unattended and unsecured on the sidewalk outside of the store. While they were in the store, an unknown suspect stole the bike.
