Robert Carney, 45, homeless out of Cambridge, was found exiting the rear of a silver sedan parked at this intersection, as officers arrived on scene. When asked what he was doing in the car, Carney only stated that he was "getting his stuff out of it." He could not provide any further explanation of who the car belonged to. Carney was searched and found in possession of a credit card belonging to another male. He was also found in possession of a tightly folded $1 dollar bill and a tightly folded $10 dollar bill. The $1 dollar bill contained a brown powdery substance smeared onto the bill. The $10 dollar bill contained a small plastic baggie, consistent with narcotic packaging, containing a brown powdery substance weighing approximately 7 grams, including the packaging. A scan conducted at CPD HQ indicated the substance was Fentanyl. Carney was also found in possession of 10 loose pills, identified as Doxepin Hydrochloride, an antidepressant and controlled substance.
