On July 28, 2021 Cambridge Police Officers were on routine patrol in the area of Central Square. While on patrol, Officers observed a motorist take an illegal left turn from Massachusetts Ave onto Western Ave. Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Western Ave and Green Street. During the stop, officers concluded that the motor vehicle in question currently had a registration status of "revoked". As a result of the stop, a Lowell resident was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle after a Revoked/Suspended Registration and Improper Turn.

A Florida resident reported a larceny on July 28, 2021 at approximately 5 p.m. A suspect entered her storage unit on Smith Place and stole a six-foot steel wine rack sometime since May 2021. The rack was from France and is valued at $2,000.
