In addition, Albert is being charged with trespassing as the staff at a local business in Central Square had previously trespassed him along with Cambridge Police on August 15, 2021.

Cambridge Police summonsed a Boston resident to Cambridge District Court for Shoplifting by Asportation, Trespassing, and Possession of Class A Drug. Police were called to a local business in Central Square for a party that has been previously trespassed and was currently shoplifting. Police arrived on scene and it was confirmed that the defendant was previously trespassed by staff and CPD. She had no means to pay for the items and also had suspected heroin on her person.

Cambridge Police were dispatched to a department store at a mall for a report of a suspected shoplifter that was in bathroom possibly using drugs and refusing to leave the store. Cambridge Police responded and located Kenny Rodriguez, 45, 812 Parker Street in Boston. After a brief investigation, it was determined Rodriguez was attempting to steal a metal guard and hybrid glass screen protection for an Apple Watch. It was determined that Rodriguez had a warrant for various shoplifting-related charges out of Somerville District Court. Rodriguez was also in possession of a large plastic baggie of suspected Fentanyl. Rodriguez was taken into custody and charged with Shoplifting, Trafficking in Fentanyl over 10 Grams, and warrant out of Somerville District Court.

HOLYOKE ST
Derek Hanlon, 30, 17 Edinboro Street in Boston, was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Assault and Battery, and Threat to Commit a Crime after he reportedly grabbed the operator of a motor vehicle and threatened to kill him during a road rage incident that took place in the area of Holyoke and Winthrop Street. Hanlon was witnessed traveling on a bicycle in the wrong direction down Winthrop Street and failed to yield to the operator. He was believed to be intoxicated. When police attempted to restrain Hanlon, he swung his hand with a closed fist and struck a Cambridge Police Officer in the face. Upon a search of Hanlon, an illegal knife (a white switchblade) was located on the ground underneath his leg and recovered by the Cambridge Police.

Specifically, the reporting party contacted ECC after observing a damaged stop sign and debris in the roadway and sidewalk. Upon arriving on scene, it was determined that a motor vehicle crash did in fact occur at this location and damaged a stop sign.

Upon further investigation, Krassimir Popov, 28, 255 North Road in Chelmsford, was placed under arrest for tagging after admitting to spray painting several areas in Harvard Square. Popov also had visible pink spray paint on his hands consistent with the damaged property.
