Cambridge Police arrested Matthew Healy-Baker, 36, 17 Ridge Road in Halifax, for shoplifting. Officer received information from a pharmacy employee that he saw a taller gentleman take items off the shelf and put them into his duffle bag and leave the store. When confronted, the man tried to evade the officer, while the officer had him detained.

Cambridge Police placed Amy Bassett, 55, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, under arrest for warrants out of Cambridge District Court for larceny from a building and out of Dorchester District Court for disturbing the peace and an attempt to commit a crime. Police were flagged down on Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square for a person shoplifting from a business. After an investigation, Bassett will also be charged with shoplifting.

Responding officers located this man in that yard and identified him as Robert Richards, 34, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, who had warrants out of Cambridge District Court for Breaking and Entering for a Felony, Assault and Battery, Trespassing, Possession of a Class A Drug, and Larceny from a Building.
