Officers observed a male actively going through a motor vehicle identified as Raymond Batista, 54, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, and he was placed into custody and is being charged with Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle - Daytime.

Peter Viera, 50, 54 Candance Street in Providence, was arrested at Massachusetts Avenue and charged with Uttering a False Check, Possession of a Counterfeit Note and Attempt to Commit a Crime - Larceny Over $1200. Viera had attempted to cash a counterfeit check with a value in excess of $5,000.

WARRANT ARREST REPORT

GREEN ST
Cambridge Police Officers were on routine patrol in the area of Central Square. While officers were on Green Street by Pleasant Street, officers observed a physical altercation between two parties. One of the parties had warrants out of Boston District, Somerville District and Cambridge District Court for multiple assault and shoplifting offenses. As a result, Keenan Duris, 25, 1 Davis Square in Somerville, was taken into custody.

Cambridge Police Department responded to Mass Ave and Essex Street for a disabled motor vehicle in the bike lane. The motor vehicle was found to have a revoked registration due to the insurance. In result, a resident of Boston is being summonsed for operating her motor vehicle on a public way uninsured.
