MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police issued a summons to a resident of Revere for Assault and Battery. Police were called to a restaurant/bar in Central Square for a report of a fight. Witnesses informed officers that the victim initially threw a drink at the defendant after the defendant was aggressive in the bar. Witnesses stated that the defendant then grabbed the victim by the hair on the back of his head and held onto him. Witnesses stated that the defendant then punched the victim in the face. The victim suffered lacerations to his face in the assault. The defendant informed officers that he had been acting in self-defense. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.

Cambridge Police responded to Sacramento Street for violations of a Harassment Prevention Order and multiple warrants. After speaking with the victim, who stated that her heat was purposefully turned off twice in the basement of a shared unit, Elizabeth Tyson, 63, 14 Sacramento Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Fire Department and Pro Ambulance responded to a Massachusetts Ave apartment building for a reported medical call. After a preliminary evaluation of the patient, it was discovered that the patient suffered a puncture wound to the torso. After transporting the patient/victim to a local hospital for further treatment/evaluation, medical personnel notified Cambridge Police of the incident.

MT AUBURN ST
Cambridge Police summonsed a Cambridge resident to court after he punched an EMT in the face causing injury. He was discharged from a hospital after receiving treatment. As he was walking out of the emergency department, he punched the unsuspecting EMT in the face multiple times. The attack was unprovoked. The EMT suffered minor facial injuries. As a result, he is being charged with Assault and Battery on Ambulance Personnel.

Cambridge Police responded to a hospital for a report of an unwanted person. Kevin Wells, 46, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, had been discharged from the hospital and assaulted an EMT earlier in the night. Wells was informed by hospital security and he was trespassed, but he refused to leave. He was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with Trespassing.
