Cambridge Police arrested John Mastromarino, 50, 20 Cliff Street in Malden, for Receiving Stolen Property Over $1200 and Possession of Burglarious Instrument after Mastromarino was seen riding the stolen bicycle after the victim positively identified the bicycle to officers and red bolt cutters were found in Mastromarino’s backpack during a search. Additionally, he was charged with warrants out of Dorchester District Court.

While conducting routine patrol for traffic violations at the intersection of Prospect Street and Broadway, the Cambridge Police observed a motor vehicle fail stop at a red light and continued through the intersection traveling towards Somerville on Prospect Street. It was determined that the operator of the vehicle – a resident of Somerville -- did not possess a valid motor vehicle driver's license. They were summonsed to Cambridge District Court and charged with Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and for a Red Light Violation.
