Specifically, an unknown operator crashed into their vehicle on Cambridge Street at approximately 5 p.m. on December 31, 2021 and fled the scene. There was minimal damage and no injuries.

12/29/202100:29 INCIDENT 21009486 A&B WITH DANGEROUS WEAPON, AGGRAVATED C265 S15A(C)	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a stabbing. Officers located a victim and they were treated on scene by Officers, EMS and the Cambridge Fire Department for a non-life-threatening puncture wound to their chest. The victim was then transported to an area hospital for further treatment.

Upon arrival, Officers discovered there had been an Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (to wit hammer). The victim was evaluated on scene by Cambridge Fire Medics and Professional Ambulance EMS, but refused transport. Officers searched the area for suspects, but were unable to locate any.

Further investigation revealed this vehicle was unregistered and the operator was operating his vehicle under the influence of liquor. As a result, Benjamin Ober, 41, 88 Oxford Street in Arlington, was placed into custody and charged with Speeding, Unregistered Motor Vehicle and OUI-Liquor.

As a result, John Cuadrado, 21, 25 Chaffest in Providence, RI, was placed into custody for a warrant and also being charged with Attaching Plates, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Unregistered Motor Vehicle.
12/28/202101:40 INCIDENT 21009469 SHOPLIFTING BY ASPORTATION C266 S30A	ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY Cambridge Police responded to a pharmacy located at Alewife Brook Parkway for a shoplifting in progress. Upon further investigation, Kevin Bacchus, 42, 59 Foster Street in Brockton, was arrested for shoplifting by asportation after concealing and attempting to leave the store with $57.73 worth of items, disorderly person, two warrants and breach of the peace while armed after officers found a large folding knife on Bacchus while doing a pat frisk for officer safety after Bacchus ignored several verbal commands to keep his hands out of his pockets. He was then placed under arrest and transported.

As a result, Alves was placed into custody and is being charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and No Inspection Sticker.

Howard was also in the possession of a stolen bicycle at the time of the arrest and was trying to sell the bicycle via Facebook Marketplace. Howard will be charged with Receiving Stolen Property Over +$1,200.

James Stegall, 45, 39 Boylston Street in Boston, was found attempting to kick two victims upon Officers arrival. A witness stated that he had kicked one individual twice with a shod foot. He is being charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon to wit Shod Foot and Disorderly Conduct.

12/23/202115:13 INCIDENT 21009397 MISC. REPORT TYPE	MT AUBURN ST Cambridge Police responded to Mt. Auburn Street for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers determined that the alleged victim was uninjured and was not in fact struck by the vehicle. The reporting party declined medical attention. All parties were then sent on their way.

12/22/202109:34 INCIDENT 21009362 DISORDERLY CONDUCT C272 S53	WHITE ST Joe Cardosi, 57, Cambridge, was arrested at a Porter Square shopping center for Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing. Cardosi was observed being verbally aggressive, very loud and threatening to numerous people in the parking lot and the exterior of stores. Cardosi's actions caused crowds to form and vehicles to stop and watch.

She paid a person approximately $25,000 during the past nine months to ship a container of goods to another country. That person never provided the container with the goods.

12/22/202121:52 INCIDENT 21009384 OUI-LIQUOR C90 S24	ESSEX ST Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue at Essex Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon further investigation, Juan Correa, 30, 3920 Mystic Valley Parkway in Medford, was placed under arrest for OUI - Alcohol as multiple witnesses identified Correa as the driver.
