Dates Announced for Next Police Exam and Application Deadline; Cambridge Police Department to Host Virtual Information Session on Dec. 13, 2021

The deadline to apply for the next Civil Service exam to become a Cambridge Police Officer has been announced. The written examination is scheduled to take place in March 2022. The deadline to apply for the exam is January 18, 2022. Late applications will be accepted until February 1, 2022. All interested Cambridge residents are encouraged to apply by visiting www.cambridgepolice.org/joinCPD.

In advance of the application deadline, the Cambridge Police will host the first of a series of virtual information sessions on Monday, December 13 at 7 p.m. During this session, residents can get more information on the application, hiring and selection process, learn about key timelines, and meet virtually with officers to ask questions and learn more about policing in Cambridge.
