Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Garden Street and Mason Street for a vehicle speeding and a broken headlight. Officers observed the operator to be extremely nervous, who gave consent to search the vehicle. As a result, the passenger (Kailey Mcleod, 26, 32 Fouth Avenue in Waltham) was placed under arrest for having 6.3 grams of heroin in her purse and being charged with Possession of a Class A Substance.

FORT WASHINGTON PL
Cambridge Police arrested William Reyes, 33, 37 Abbott Street in Worcester, and charged with Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle. ECC informed responding Officers of a man down behind the wheel of motor vehicle on Fort Washington Place and stated the car was idling for approximately an hour. While responding to that destination, ECC informed officers that this motor vehicle was reported stolen out of Boston on 12/31/2021 at approximately 3 p.m. Officers arrived on scene and located Reyes behind the wheel and he was placed under arrest. Reyes license status was also suspended and therefore Reyes will additionally be charged with Operating After Suspension.
