A Cambridge resident came to the Cambridge Police Substation in Central Square to report a past assault.

THIRD ST
A resident of Cambridge called the CPD Teleserve to report a larceny. The victim states on 1/12/2022 he met an unknown suspect through an app on his Apple iPad and that suspect gained access to his iPad. This suspect locked the iPad and then demanded $200 from the victim for the iPad to be unlocked. The victim gave the suspect the requested amount of money, but the suspect did not unlock the victim’s iPad.

A resident of Cambridge called the CPD Teleserve to report that a suspect attempted to break into his vehicle during the early morning of 1/12/2022. The victim states his home security system shows the suspect try to open his car door while the car was parked in the victim’s driveway. The victim states no damage was done to his vehicle and nothing was stolen from his vehicle because the doors were locked.
