Cambridge Police was dispatched to area of Columbia Street at Hampshire for a report of an abandoned bus obstructing traffic. The vehicle was towed and the registered owner was notified.

GARDEN ST
The Cambridge Police documented a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The operator was issued a citation for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. The pedestrian sustained a lower leg injury and was transported to a hospital for further treatment.

A resident of Revere was summonsed for unlicensed operation and a restricted lane violation. He was initially stopped for using the bus lane. During the stop, it was discovered that he had no valid driver’s license.

An Officer observed a suspect break into and enter a motor vehicle while patrolling the 800 block of Massachusetts Avenue. The suspect was then witnessed going through the center console of the vehicle. The suspect (Justin West, 49, 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge) was stopped, identified and placed under arrest for Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle Nighttime for Felony and Receiving Stolen Property -$1,200 after it was discovered that West had a stolen credit card belonging to the owner of the broken into vehicle.

A Cambridge resident was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration after they were observed failing to stop for a posted stop sign at the intersection of Brookline Street and Putnam Avenue.

Cambridge Police responded to a local business for reports of a female party who was inside of the store who was previously trespassed. Subsequently, Brianne O'Donnell, 41, homeless out of Brockton, was placed under arrest for warrants out of Roxbury District Court (Attempting to Commit a Crime and Larceny under $1,200).
