Three new Police Officers were sworn into the Cambridge Police Department on Friday, January 14, 2022.
Officer Michael Brown most recently worked at the Concord Police Department. He has also worked at the UMass-Boston Police Department after graduating from the Massachusetts State Police Academy. Brown received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from UMass-Lowell.
Officer Christa Cosenza graduated with the latest Cambridge-Northeastern Police Academy class and then worked for the Northeastern University Police Department. She previously worked as a Case Manager in the CPD Professional Standards Unit and also interned in the CPD Crime Scene Services Unit while attending Northeastern University.
Officer Bryan Jackson has previously worked for the Weston and Nantucket Police Departments. Prior to graduating from the Randolph Police Academy, he also worked as a Cadet at the UMass-Amherst Police Department and Intern at the Springfield Police Department. He received his Bachelor’s at Westfield State University.
