A&B C265 S13A
|
MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police were dispatched to the area of the 500 block of Massachusetts Avenue for what appeared to be a disturbed person attacking random citizens. Upon arrival, officers were flagged down by multiple witnesses, who pointed to the suspect known to officers from previous interactions. It appeared that the suspect was experiencing a mental health episode as he was incoherent, not obeying officer commands and attacking strangers. Officers on scene determined that a Section 12 was the most appropriate action as they did not witness any of the assaults. While en route to the hospital, it was discovered that Nicholas Burke-Dash had warrants out of Cambridge District Court for Assault and Battery and Boston District Court for Possession of a Class B Drug.
