At approximately 8:15 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022, Cambridge Police and Fire responded to reports of a small group of protestors on the roof and another 20-30 individuals outside the Raytheon Technologies building on Moulton Street in Cambridge.

For nearly four hours, Officers attempted to communicate with and escort protestors -- who were locked together and had used smoke devices -- off the roof of the Raytheon building. However, they refused to cooperate and were later arrested. Five defendants face charges for Breaking and Entering Daytime for a Felony, Vandalizing Property, and Trespassing. The remaining protestors left the area shortly after the arrests were made.

The defendants are expected to be arraigned in Cambridge District Court once they are all processed at the Cambridge Police Department. Note: we are still processing the defendants at the time of this posting and the Cambridge Police Department does not publish or distribute booking photos.
