A Cambridge resident reported being assaulted and threatened on April 12, 2022 at approximately 5:15 p.m. The incident was said to have taken place on Leighton Street around 9:40 p.m. on April 9, 2022. The victim reported minor bruising as a result of an altercation with another male. During the fight, the suspect threatened to return and shoot the victim.

Cambridge Police responded to a residence on Rindge Avenue for a report of a disturbance between two residents. Upon further investigation, Gale Lewis, 65, 117 Rindge Avenue in Cambridge, was arrested for Assault and Battery on a Person 60+/Disabled for striking another resident. Lewis was also arrested for a warrant out of Cambridge for Shoplifting by Asportation.

Cambridge Police Officers, while on routine patrol, saw a male party known to have warrants out of Cambridge District Court. Officers stopped the party in question and, after confirming the male parties identify, Scott Mothersil, 30, 1277 Mass Ave in Boston, was placed into custody for warrants out of Cambridge District Court for the following charges: Breaking and Entering into a Building Nighttime for a Felony and Vandalizing Property.
