Cambridge Police received a 911 call stating there was an unattended and suspicious bag located at the entrance of the Kendall Sq MBTA Station. Upon arrival, the bag was located by CPD patrol units and investigated by the Cambridge Police EOD Unit. Once deemed safe, the bag was cleared.

Cambridge Police placed James Hill, 60, 14 Duxbury Road in Worcester, under arrest for warrants out of Worcester District Court for trespassing, disorderly conduct, and assault and battery on ambulance personnel. Hill was stopped by police in a Cambridge establishment where he was trespassing and stealing employees belongings.

Cambridge Police twice responded to a Linnaean Street residence after Emergency Communications received calls first of a disturbance and later of a stabbing. Both calls were unfounded, and it was the belief of residence that a known 3rd party caller was using the 9-1-1 system as a means to harass them.

Cambridge Police responded to a Porter Square business for a report of an active disturbance. After an investigation, it was determined that Eric Schell, 57, 125 Eustis Street in Boston, had intentionally used pepper spray on two victims causing injuries. Schell was placed under arrest and he is being charged with two counts of Assault and Battery with Dangerous Weapon.
