Upon arrival, the bag was quickly located and leaning in middle of Western Avenue bridge side wall. The contents were cleared by Tango 3 as bag visibly was rubbish.

Officers observed a motor vehicle with a registration status of revoked for insurance and the owner having a suspended license. A traffic stop was conducted and after an investigation, it was determined a resident of Somerville would be issued a traffic citation as a criminal complaint for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

11/12/202216:59 INCIDENT22008977 A&B ON +60/DISABLED WITH INJURY C265 S13K	CAMBRIDGE ST Cambridge Police were flagged down by a male that was reportedly just assaulted at the intersection of Cambridge Street and Berkshire Street. After an investigation, Cambridge Police arrested the defendant, a juvenile, for Assault and Battery on a Person Over the Age of 60 and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. It was determined that based on a totality of circumstances, the defendant threw a rock at the victim striking him in the head. The defendant also punched the victim with closed fist several times causing significant facial injuries. The victim was evaluated by Pro EMS on scene.

The bicyclist sustained an injury to their right knee and right shoulder, but was not medically treated/evaluated at the time of this report.

An investigation revealed that the operator only possessed a Dominican Republic driver’s license after stating he was a permanent Massachusetts resident. He stated he struck the back of a motor vehicle at the red light on Binney Street. He will be summonsed for the following crime: Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

11/10/202223:46 INCIDENT22008919 OUI-LIQUOR C90 S24	ROGERS ST Cambridge Police arrested Niehaus Holly, 51, 127 River Road in West Newbury, for OUI-Liquor and Leaving the Scene of Property Damage. Cambridge Police was in the area of Second Street and Rogers Street when one of the officers observed multiple plastic pieces what looked to be a splash guard of a car in the middle of Second Street. That officer then observed a large black SUV bearing plates registered to Holly parked on Second Street just before Rogers Street with heavy front-end damage. Holly was still in the driver's seat with her engine running. That officer then stopped and spoke to Holly to do a well-being check. Further investigation revealed that Holly was impaired and showed multiple signs of impairment during conversation and agreed to having a last alcoholic beverage about an hour ago. In addition, further investigation revealed that Holly caused damage to a building on First Street and kept driving until she parked on Second Street by Rogers Street. At the station, Holly consented to submit to the chemical test to determine her BAC and Holly subsequently registered a BAC of .21.
