CLARK ST
Cambridge Police responded to a motor vehicle on fire on Hampshire Street. The responding officers determined that the involved vehicle was not on fire, but was involved in a crash with another motor vehicle. As a result of this crash, Leroy Blake, 30, 100 Harvard Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Operation after Suspension of License for Operating a Vehicle on a Public Way and knowing that his license was suspended, Failure to Yield for Failing to Yield the Right of Way at an intersection and causing a crash, Use of Motor Vehicle without Authority for driving his girlfriend's vehicle without her permission, Operation under the Influence of Liquor for Operating a Motor Vehicle on a Public Way while Under the Influence of Alcohol, Operation under the Influence of Drugs for Operating a Motor Vehicle on a Public Way while under the Influence of Marijuana, Child Endangerment while OUI for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and alcohol with three children in the vehicle, Reckless Endangerment to a Child for operating a vehicle with three children in the passenger seats while intoxicated and causing a crash, Negligent Operation for Operating a Vehicle and putting the safety of others in danger, Open Container of Alcohol for Operating a Vehicle on a Public Way and having a open bottle of vodka on the passenger seat.

HUNTING ST
Cambridge Police responded to a Hunting Street residence for an unwanted person. Two social workers had responded to a service provider-owned apartment to check on its residents. Upon their arrival, the resident was not there and an individual was inside without lawful permission. The Social Workers had contacted Cambridge Police due to the individual becoming verbally aggressive and refusing to leave. Officers made entry to the apartment to remove the individual and located a second individual in a bedroom who was also present without lawful permission. The two Cambridge residents were both summonsed to appear in Cambridge District Court for Trespassing.

The Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue and Lee Street for a bicyclist struck by a motorist. The motorist was taking a right turn onto Lee Street from Massachusetts Avenue. The bicyclist refused to be transported for further medical evaluation.

BROOKLINE ST
Cambridge Police arrested for Chastrey Diaz, 25, 140 North Street in Salem, for Disorderly Conduct and Assault and Battery, and Assault and Battery on Ambulance Personnel. Police were called to Brookline Street and Massachusetts Ave for a report of an assault in progress. It was discovered that the defendant, Diaz, had punched the victim in the face after an argument. While police were conducting an investigation, Diaz was screaming and swearing at officers and swinging her arms while trying to push through officers to confront to the victim. Diaz obstructed the sidewalk and made it impassible to citizens due to her tumultuous behavior. Diaz also attracted the attention of numerous passersby who stopped and stared due to her behavior. Diaz was handcuffed for officer and citizen safety. Diaz continued her screaming, causing foam to form at the corners of her mouth, while in handcuffs and continually pulled away from officers holding her. It should also be noted that Diaz appeared to be intoxicated. Diaz later spit in the face of an EMT prior to being transported to the hospital. Diaz was subsequently informed she was under arrest.
