Officers were conducting a directed patrol of an apartment building that has had numerous complaints of unhoused people trespassing. Baker was found asleep in the stairwell and did not live in the building. As she was being trespassed from the property, she was found to have two outstanding warrants out of Boston.

David Shoemaker, 35, 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, was arrested by the Cambridge Police. Police responded to a River Street business for the report of a stolen credit card actively being used. Upon arrival, Officers were directed to a male, later identified as David Shoemaker. Shoemaker had in his possession a wallet belonging to another resident and had both successfully and unsuccessfully used three credit cards belonging to the wallet owner to buy various gift cards. The total of the transactions totaled approximately $1480. While Officers were investigating, the victims of the case arrived after receiving an alert that their credit cards were being unlawfully used at the business. There, the victim told the Police that the wallet in question had been stolen out of his parked motor vehicle in an adjacent parking lot a short time before the cards were used. They also mentioned that cash in specific denominations was taken from the wallet as well, which was found on Shoemaker's person. Given the aforementioned facts, Shoemaker was placed into custody and charged with Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle in the Nighttime for a Felony, Larceny Under $1200, Receiving Stolen Credit Cards, and Improper Use of a Credit Card Over $1200.

Cambridge Police Traffic Unit Officers, while assigned to the Impaired Driving Grant, were on a directed patrol in the area of Sydney Street and Erie Street. While on the directed patrol, Officers observed a motor vehicle pass through a four-way intersection without stopping at the posted stop sign. Officers conducted a traffic stop and during the course of the stop discovered that the Massachusetts License Plate on the vehicle did not belong to the vehicle in question and came back to another vehicle of a similar make and model. As a result, a resident of Woburn was issued a criminal complaint for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign and Attaching Plates.

Officers responded to the business at the request of staff to help them identify a known shoplifter (Bassett) who was found to have upwards of $280 in unpaid merchandise in a bag.

Following a crash on Reservoir St. that caused significant property damage, Cambridge Police arrested Marialuisa Emmons, 29, 32 Pemberton Street in Cambridge, on charges of Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, Marked Lanes, and Speeding. While operating a vehicle at a high rate of speed on a public way,Emmons swerved out of the marked travel lane and struck the rear of a legally parked vehicle. Officers observed signs of impairment on-scene during interactions and through several Standard Field Sobriety (SFTS), these observations were confirmed by a Portable Breath Test (PBT) and statements from Emmons that she'd had several drinks approximately one hour prior to the crash.
