Cambridge Police issued a summonsed for failure to yield to a red light, attaching plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop after witnessing failure to yield for a red light at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and Walden St. After an investigation, it was discovered that the plate of the car came back to a Volkswagen Jetta, but was in fact a Mercedes SUV. It was further discovered that the car was purchased over a month prior, but had attached a previously issued plate and failed to register or insure the car.

An officer observed from his marked police cruisera black Toyota Prius at Broadway and Third St stop at the green light for the left turn in the left turn only lane then proceed straight when the straight green light came on. The operator was stopped andadmitted to not having a license and a check confirmed it. The operator was cited and summoned for the marked lane violation and unlicensed operation.
