Due to this, Nicole Abato, 41, unhoused, was placed under arrest due to threatening a store employee for calling police for assistance. Cambridge Police dispatch informed units before arriving to the residence that the individual in question of being checked on had two active warrants. Catherine Cohen, 40, 70 Kirkland Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for warrants out of Cambridge District Court (Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest) and Boston District Court (Possession of a Class B Drug and Municipal By-Law Violation) and a report was taken.

A Somerville resident reported a break-in to her motor vehicle on January 22, 2023 at approximately 11:30 p.m. A suspect broke in to her Jeep Compass while it was parked on Douglass Street between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m. A backpack containing two laptop computers was stolen. The items were valued at $3,500 in total.

Cambridge Police responded to a pharmacy located at White Street for reports of an unwanted party. Officers spoke with a female party, later identified as Jade Bedrosian, 43, 117 Rindge Avenue in Cambridge, who was refusing to leave the business. After gathering all the information from both Bedrosian and staff, Bedrosian was placed on the trespass list. While being placed on the trespass list, ECC Communications confirmed that Bedrosian had warrants out of Cambridge and Boston District Court.

Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Cameron Avenue. It was learned that a Rhode Island resident had been rear-ended by a vehicle with a Connecticut registration while stopped at a red light. The Connecticut vehicle left the scene and the operator made no attempt to exchange information. The Rhode Island resident and their passenger denied injury; the vehicle sustained noticeable damage.
