Officers were dispatched to an assault in progress outside a bank at Alewife Brook Parkway. The unidentified male victim stated that he had been struck in the head several times with a Bluetooth speaker. Upon investigation, Shalia Brown, 31, 889 Harrison Avenue in Boston, was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (shod foot) when she kicked an officer with a shod foot while attempting to collect evidence. Due to an uncooperative victim on scene, officers were unable to ascertain who had struck the caller with the Bluetooth speaker.

Cambridge Police were dispatched to a Memorial Drive business for a report of a female passed out behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. The reporting party provided the license plate of the vehicle and it was reported stolen earlier in the day out of Chelsea. Upon arrival, police observed Dionne Person, 41, 889 Harrison Avenue in Boston, sleeping in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with the hood open. Person was medically cleared and placed under arrest for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
