Cambridge Police Traffic Enforcement Officers were on a directed patrol in the area of Cambridge Street and Third Street. While on the directed patrol, a traffic stop was conducted after officers observed a motorist using his cell phone while operating a motor vehicle. Subsequently after the stop it was revealed that the operator of the motor vehicle in question did not hold a current driver’s license. As a result of the stop, an Everett resident was issued a criminal application for complaint for Distracted Driving and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. A licensed operator arrived on scene and took possession of the involved motor vehicle.

GREEN ST
Officers were patrolling the Central Square area on foot. As Officer got to the intersection of Green Street and Western Avenue, they witnessed Danasia Greene, 26, 20 Child Street in Cambridge, strike a victim three times in the face with a right-handed closed fist while she was sitting on the bench at the corner of Green Street and Magazine Street. Officers immediately placed Greene under arrest for Assault and Battery.
