A Cambridge resident reported hit-and-run damage to her motor vehicle on May 11, 2023 at approximately 9 p.m. A suspect struck her vehicle while it was parked inside the Porter Square Shopping Center earlier tonight. An incident report was taken.

HARDING ST
Cambridge Police placed Juana Portes, 51, 406 Columbia Street in Cambridge, under arrest for OUI Liquor. At approximately 9:57 p.m., Emergency Communications dispatched multiple units to Harding Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving two cars, one car parked and the other being operated by Portes. Officers observed glassy eyes, slurred speech, and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her breathe while speaking to police. After Portes admitted to having multiple glasses of wine, she was put through the Standard Field Sobriety Test, which Officers deemed that Portes was intoxicated.
