WESTERN AVE
Officers responded to a Western Avenue location
for a report of a crash in a bike lane involving a cyclist and a pedestrian. The cyclist reported that they conducted a sliding stop to avoid a group of pedestrians standing in the bike lane and subsequently collided with the pedestrian.
The pedestrian possibly sustained a broken arm along with other injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The cyclist refused medical treatment. No citations were issued.

Lijahmil Bowden, 30, of 33 Egmont Street in Brookline, was placed under arrest after he committed an unprovoked assault and battery towards a bystander in the presence of Cambridge Police Officers. Bowden was charged with one count of Assault and Battery.
