MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police responded to a breaking and entering at a business on Massachusetts Avenue. Upon arrival, police found that a garage bay window had been smashed and an interior door was also damaged. The property owners did not report damage to the interior of the business, or any stolen property.

Cambridge Police responded to the 2400 block of Mass Ave for the report of a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, Officers noticed that the glass of the front door and the glass of the side window were shattered. The property owner arrived on scene to secure the property.

HAMMOND ST
Cambridge Police responded to a crash on Oxford Street for a report of a bicyclist that was struck by a motor vehicle. The bicyclist reported that a motor vehicle struck their left arm while they were riding in the shared bike lane. The involved motorist stopped and provided their information but left the scene before officers arrived. The bicyclist reported a minor injury to their left forearm but declined any medical attention. Cambridge Police attempted to contact the motorist based on the information provided, but initial attempts were unsuccessful.

A Boston resident filed a past assault with a dangerous weapon report with Cambridge Police. They reported that an operator of a vehicle attempted to parallel park close to their parked vehicle, and they subsequently jumped between the two vehicles to prevent the suspect vehicle operator from hitting their vehicle. They reported being struck in the shin area of their legs by the front bumper of the suspect’s vehicle.
The operator of the suspect vehicle left the scene before officers arrived. The reporting party refused medical attention. A report was filed.

Cambridge Police responded to Central Square for a motor vehicle crash involving a cyclist at the intersection of Mass Ave and Pearl Street. The cyclist received medical evaluation/treatment on scene but refused to be transported to the hospital for further treatment. The operator of the motor vehicle was issued a citation for Failure to Yield to Oncoming Traffic.
