As a result, Tifeleeyah Wilder, 29, of 56 Broad Street in Boston, was arrested for one count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon +60, and one count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Cambridge Police responded to the 1000 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a motor vehicle hit and run crash involving a pedestrian. It was reported that the pedestrian was crossing Mass Ave when a vehicle traveling west bound at approximately 35 mph with no headlights on attempted to stop and slammed on their breaks. The vehicle struck the pedestrian on their right side, causing them to go airborne and hit the ground. The vehicle then accelerated at a high rate of speed and fled the scene. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with unreported injuries. A crash report was taken.

It was reported that the pedestrians were in the crosswalk when an unknown motorist began to turn left onto Mass. Ave. from Norfolk Street and struck the pedestrians with their driver’s side mirror then fled the scene. Both pedestrians declined medical treatment. A report was taken.
