Cambridge Police responded to Santander Bank in Central Square for a robbery that had just occurred. After an investigation, William Cruz, 33, of 10 River Road in Somerville, was placed under arrest and charged with Unarmed Robbery, Intimidation of a Witness, and Possession of a Class B Drug.

PROSPECT ST
Cambridge Police responded to the block of 300 Prospect Street for a hit and run crash with property damage involving a moped. The reporting party indicated that someone operating a moped crashed and slid underneath their parked truck. The operator of the moped then proceeded to remove the moped from under the truck, lock the moped up to a street pole, then fled the scene. Officers arrived on scene and were unable to locate the operator of the moped. There were no reported injuries. A report was taken.

A security company on Memorial Drive reported that on 8/3 an unknown suspect vandalized the front of their building by throwing numerous eggs at the building's front glass windows and lawn. Security suspects that the person responsible may be a disgruntled former employee. There was no reported damage to the structure of the building. A report was taken.
