Police responded to the 200 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a shoplifting at a business. Officers were able to find the suspect and return them to the store where a formal trespass order was requested.

A resident reported seeing a suspiciously dressed individual going from yard to yard in their neighborhood. Responding officers located the person matching the reported description. Devin Newberry, 33, unhoused, was placed under arrest for warrants out of Roxbury District Court, Waltham District Court, and Brighton District Court. Newberry is also charged with possession of a Class B substance.
