MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Officers responded to a business on the 500 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a shoplifting in progress. Jordan Kimathi, 23, unhoused, was placed under arrest for shoplifting and resisting arrest. Kimathi resisted officers as they were taking him into custody. Kimathi was taken down to the ground where he was placed in handcuffs without any further issues.

WARRANT ARREST REPORT

ESSEX ST
Police conducted a vehicle stop at Massachusetts Avenue and Essex Street. Officers determined the driver had an active warrant. Jorbis Thimodent, 19, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest for a felony warrant out of Brighton District Court. It was also found that Thimodent’s vehicle was classified as a motorcycle, but he did not possess a Class M license. Thimodent is being summonsed to Cambridge District Court for operating a motor vehicle in violation of license class, uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, number plate missing, motorcycle equipment violation, and a marked lanes crosswalk violation.
