Police responded to the 300 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash. While enroute, ECC notified police to be on the lookout or the other motor vehicle involved. Massachusetts State Police located the vehicle and CPD responded to investigate. Jeffery Soivilien, 40, of Boston was placed under arrest for OUI. A report was taken.

Traffic Enforcement Unit Officers were conducting Directed Patrols around Cambridge Street and Third Street. Officers observed a motorist proceed pasted the marked "stop line", while the traffic light was red. The motorist’s vehicle was obstructing the crosswalk. A motor vehicle stop was conducted. Officers became aware the operator’s license was suspended. The driver was cited for Crosswalk Violation (Blocking Crosswalk) and Operating MV with Suspended/Revoked License.
