Police responded to a busines on the 200 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a shoplifting that had just occurred. A clerk told officers an individual came in to purchase a few items. They brought the items up to the counter and then walked out with them without paying for them. A report was taken.

Police responded to the 0 block Alewife Brook Parkway for a reported stolen motor vehicle that was returned to their driveway but was tampered with. The reporting party stated their vehicle was taken without their permission and when it was returned they noticed someone had tried to take a part. A report was taken.

Police responded to Cambridge and Windsor streets for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The driver told officers their view was obstructed as they were pulling out. The motor vehicle operator was cited and a report was filed.

Police responded to a River St. business on a report of a shoplifting. The indiviudal involved had active warrants. Shawn Scarlett. 37, unhoused, was placed under arrest for warrants out of Cambridge and Waltham District Courts. In addition to the warrants, Scarlett will also be charged in Cambridge District Court with one count of Shoplifting by Asportation.

Police responded to a retail store on the 500 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a shoplifting. Upon arrival officers learned that an individual was concealing merchandise inside of their purse. Shanice Monique Travis, 32, of Cambridge was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealment.

Police responded to a Porter Sq. retail store on a report of a shoplifting. It was learned that store employees had observed two individuals take merchandise and leave without paying. Janelle Hill, 37, of Lynn was placed under arrest for shoplifting by concealment. Sean O'Bryan, 41, of Boston was placed under arrest for shoplifting by concealment.

Police responded for a shoplifting inside a Porter Square business. It was learned that an individual had taken numerous items from the store and physically assaulted an employee who attempted to intervene. The employee did not require medical attention. Officers were unable to locate the involved person. A report was taken.
