Police responded to a report of several vehicles parked in a no parking zone on the 0 block of Howard St. Further investigation led to the discovery that one of the vehicles was uninsured. The owner was issued a citation and the vehicle was towed.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims that the suspect took approximately $45 in hygiene and cleaning equipment. A report was taken.

Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Cambridge St. and Windsor St. It was learned that the first vehicle was traveling along Windsor St. and collided with the second vehicle when crossing Cambridge St. As traffic along Windsor St. has a stop sign at this intersection the operator of the first vehicle was cited for failing to yield right of way. An incident report and crash report were completed.

SOMERVILLE AVE
Police responded to a report of shoplifting on the 800 block of Somerville Ave, The reporting party informed officers that an individual, later identified as Crystal Dufault, 43, of Boston, had concealed roughly $10 worth of food and a package of lighters. Upon further investigation it was learned that Dufault had four (4) active warrants from courts in Boston, Quincy, and Brookline. During the arrest Dufault was found to have a bag containing a substance believed to be fentanyl. Dufault was subsequently placed under arrest on the warrants and will be charged with an additional count of shoplifting by concealment as well as possession of a class A substance.

Police responded to a report of shoplifing on the 500 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims that an individual attempted to shoplift roughly $20 worth of hair products. The individual was escorted off the premises and trespassed from the property.

Police responded to a report of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on the 200 block of Norfolk St. The reporting party claims that an individual broke into their vehicle and stole $5 in cash and a $300 tripod. A report was taken.

Police responded to the 800 block of Massachusetts Ave to speak with a person who believed they'd been scammed. The reporting party claimed that a group of individuals were impersonating members of a their bank, and that they had told the reporting party to withdraw $20,000. One of the individuals, later identified as Litao Lin, 28, from Queens, New York, arrived to collect the $20,000 and following an investigation was subsequently arrested on a charge of attempt to commit larceny by false pretence for an amount over $1200. Lin was also found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended registration that was uninsured leading to additional charges.

Police responded to a report of an ongoing disturbance on the 200 block of Franklin St within an apartment complex. Upon arrival, several individuals were arguing loudly. Officers de-escalated the situation and seperated the individuals involved. A report was taken.
