Learn about Nextdoor

Cambridge Police

With Nextdoor -- a new private social network for neighborhoods -- Cambridge residents can create or join private neighborhood websites to share information, including neighborhood public safety issues, community events and activities, local services, and even lost pets.

The Cambridge Police Department is using the social network to post information, such as important news, services, programs, free events, and emergency notifications to Nextdoor websites within the city. In turn, residents will be able to engage with each of the police department’s posts with questions and comments, as well as send private messages to the department.
