Cambridge Police

The Cambridge Police has committed officers and resources to support and protect the LGBTQ+ community. The various roles include:

  • Building a relationship between the Cambridge Police Department and members/allies of the LGBTQ+ Community
  • Assisting with the planning of training for new recruits to the Cambridge Police Department
  • Serving as a direct contact for the members/allies of the LGBTQ+ Community to report crimes, who may not feel comfortable
  • Interacting with other liaisons from surrounding agencies
  • Providing reports to the Cambridge LGBTQ+ Commission at their monthly meetings
